INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL
"MEETINGS ON THE NEVA RIVER"
(Saint Petersburg, Russia)
 

The International Music Festival "Meeting on the Neva River" is an annual event, which runs from the end of January until the middle of April in Saint Petersburg. The City of Saint Petersburg, Russian "Venice of the North", is well known for its beautiful classic architecture, museums and concert halls. It is famous for its musical heritage and cultural traditions.

Festival "Meetings on the Neva River" is designed for the young generation of musicians from high schools, colleges and universities. The festival includes a wide range of music arts from choruses to bands and orchestras. It is open to
the all styles and genres including folk, classic and contemporary music.

MISSION OF THE FESTIVAL
is to provide participants with unique performance, cultural and learning opportunities. The goal of the festival is to bring together musicians from around the world through the medium of music and culture.
Festival sponsors are Ministry of Culture, Russian Federation, City of Saint Petersburg, Leningrad Regional Government, Regional Departments of Culture & Education of St. Petersburg, and International Fine Arts Institute (USA).
